Videostasis offers users a service to “freeze” their videos in a time capsule until a future date.
We were asked to create a simple, memorable brand, and started the creative process with name ideation, considering the best way to convey the website’s function to prospective users through the brand name.
Following this, we developed an eye-catching marque using a folded film strip to represent the ‘V’, with a creeping blue gradient providing a visual nod towards the progressive freezing effect.
The brand itself can be used both on and offline, and works in a number of formats and environments. It is currently being used on the Videostasis website and accompanying promotional literature. The ‘V’ device is used as an eye catching icon for all social media accounts.
