Veblen Wine are a fine wine investment business who came to us looking for an identity to represent the core values of their business: Security, reliability and trust. They also wanted to convey an established feel despite their recent entry to the market.
We researched historic and new world approaches to the wine business and sought to merge the modern with the classic. This was achieved by the use of a classic condensed serif alongside an ultra-modern sans serif font. We used heraldic influences to represent the roots of the wine business but also to suggest protection and reliability. We further supported this by the use of lions to emphasise the secure aspect of the brief. The use of gold foiling increased the luxurious and established feel of this new brand.
The final marque now symbolises a strong, trustworthy brand which can be relied upon.
