The House Nurseries provide flexible daycare, nurseries and a pre-school for children aged from one to five. They approached us to develop their website and branding after forming a new company. They had two nurseries that they wanted to brand and a potential third that they wanted to include in the concept.
We visited their nurseries to get a good feel for the environment and how the children interact within it. When we saw the children playing, it felt natural that their brand needed to portray a mixture of learning, growing, excitement and intrigue.
We merged a classic feel with something modern to get the right balance for their audience and location. This was achieved through the use of traditional typography in a classic French blue, dovetailed with a contemporary Illustration which subtly reflects the evolution of a child. The identity also shows a small child being intrigued by a small flower, which is a nod to their original brand which was a flower.
