Clarisford approached us about modernising their identity and creating their website. The aim was to create a beautiful identity that appealed to their target audience of high net worth home owners in West London.
We designed this from scratch with pencil and paper, developing custom letter forms that communicated visually, way beyond the bounds of their alphabetic requirement.
The word Clarisford itself references a place close to the business owner’s hearts, near to where they’re from in Ireland. They felt this location was beautiful, inspiring and desirable and it was this mindset that they wanted to align with their bespoke construction and interior design business.
Using a script style we crafted letters that were unified with custom ligatures. From the grand beginning, the ‘C’ of Clarisford, to the over swinging ‘d’ connecting to the dot of the ‘i’, emphasising dynamic movement with acute attention to detail. To accompany these letters the ‘f’ is nuzzled inside the umbrella of the ’d’ calmly and securely embodying trust.
The design flows beautifully from the original brief and we are delighted with the resulting identity.
